About Us: The Cheeky Story

I’m Cheeky, the founder of Cheeky Herbs Botanical. I wanted the take a moment to share my personal story with you..

For years, I struggled with my super sensitive skin, constantly trying product after product, hoping to find something that didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Like many of us, I trusted big-name brands, believing that their promises of quick fixes and glowing skin would work. But I found that most conventional skincare products were filled with harsh chemicals that left my skin feeling worse, not better, irritated, dry, and out of balance. I couldn't find anything to get rid of my scaly skin. This affected my self esteem and confidence. 

It wasn’t until I decided to explore plant-based remedies that everything changed. I began researching and testing herbs, natural oils, and botanical extracts - ingredients that have been used for centuries to heal and nourish the skin. And when they started to work, I cried with relief - this was my breakthrough. 

The experience sparked something in me, an understanding that what we put on our skin should be as pure as what we eat. I also found that traditional products off the shelf were filled with 80% fillers.. this was an eye opener. This means all the products I had eventually spent a fortune on only had 20% of REAL ingredients. Whats more, some of them actually made my skin worse!

That’s when I knew I had to create Cheeky Herbs Botanical - a line of skincare and haircare products that are completely free from harsh chemicals, toxins, or alcohol, and made with 100% organic, plant-based ingredients. 

We have collagen - plant based and hyaluronic acid - also plant based so there isn't anything missing. Rather, you are gaining as our products are 100% product and no fillers in the ingredients unlike traditional store bought items.

That's why if you use one of our products, you are likely to see results from the first application. Its also why people perceive organic products to be expensive. Fillers are cheap, premium ingredients are not.  BUT.. our formulations last longer as you need less to work with. So you pay a higher price but it does the job better and then lasts longer so you end up paying the same price in the end AND with better quality? Yes, it's a no brainer!  

Cheeky Herbs has grown into team of individuals who support testing and marketing. At the moment we do not create our own products, rather we used trusted botanists (people who are certified to work with plants) to create the formulas for us. We test these formulas to see if they work and if there is a noticeable improvement from first time use. This is our aim.

And because we know that everyone’s skin is different, we offer a range of products tailored to various skin needs, whether you’re dealing with dryness, sensitivity, or just want that natural glow. For example, if you have acne prone skin then use our Matcha Green Tea facemask as opposed to our sensitive pink clay facemask. Matcha is a highly antioxidant filled product so it will work better on your skin then the gentle fingers of the pink clay formulation. If you have dry skin, pink clay is your baby! Our pink clay face mask is formulated to give your skin the glow it missing by adding that hydration back into your skin. 

Pro Tip: If you are not glowing then you need hydrating.

We completely understand the hesitation that comes with trying something new, especially when it comes to your skin. That's why we urge you to look at our reviews so you can see what our customers say about our products. Or just try one product and see if you like it. If it not for you, then return it.  

Also, its important to know your skin type. Some products just aren't suitable for all skin types. We will post information on our site, Instagram and TikTok about this. If there is something you would like to see then please do let us know! 

We have a couple of items for Haircare. Hair loss and breakage seems to be a common problem, especially in the UK as we have less sun and less Vitamin D. We found the perfect solution, a hair serum that nourished your hair from root to tip but also has the power to grow your hair. A lot customers have reported baby hair growth within 3 weeks. This came as a welcome surprise to us as we didn't expect this. I bought the product to tackle dry damaged hair but it did more than I thought was possible. Amazing since I no longer need to hide my hair from people. Phew! 

Finally, we created Cheeky Herbs because we truly believe in the healing power of nature, and I want to share that with you.
